I'm not making any of this up.
The chicken thing is called Kaparot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kapparos ). The spring onions are on Pesach and the sweet throwing is for Simchat Torah. Both Channukah and Rosh Hashanah can involve eating doughnuts. Oh, and on Purim you are actively encouraged to get drunk "Untill you can no longer tell the difference between the phrases 'arur haman' and 'baruch mordechai'" (so that's comatose then)
So why don't Jews evangelise? They don't need to.
So why isn't everyone Jewish? Oh yeah, that thing.
